Thank you for visiting our website and your interest in renting an apartment from the Caldwell Housing Authority (CHA).  Whether you are visiting this website for yourself, or for a friend or relative, we hope you will find the answer to many of your housing questions.  At CHA, we provide housing 20% to 50% cheaper than the local rental market in an effort to meet the growing demand for affordable workforce housing for Caldwell-area employees.  CHA has is the oldest housing provider in the Treasure Valley with 75+ years’ experience serving our community.

We hope you will find this information helpful as you make important decisions about your housing needs and we encourage you to visit the Eligibility section of this site for more detailed information.  CHA’s rental housing at Farmway Village is nestled in a rural Western-Caldwell setting close to the freeway and surrounding communities.  We take pride in our safe, family-friendly community and believe you will find it easy to make Farmway Village home for you and your family.

CHA has 225 units of project-based housing in Caldwell.  Although CHA does not administer or issue HUD Section 8 Vouchers, we do accept Section 8 Vouchers and work closely with Southwest Idaho Cooperative Housing Agency (SICHA) and the voucher holder to make your occupancy a pleasant experience.  Our apartments easily meet the strict requirements of the Section 8 program.  Our staff is both knowledgeable and experienced.
